     Title: Teacake Tuesday as a finalist in the PEA Business Awards 

We were alerted to the fact that we have been shortlisted for a PEA Supply Chain Champion Award in the inaugural PEA Business Awards 2012 for our efforts to all things green and sustainable. Delighted to have been recognised for our commitment and success running the UK arm of C.L.A.S.S (Creative, Lifestyle and Sustainable Syngery), the award sets out to recognise leadership and vision for best practise and key strategies which are green and which respect the planet's precious resources improving future well being. As we look forward to attending an exciting awards final at The Orangery Kensington Palace, the nomination will be judged by Leo Johnson Head of Sustainability at PWC, alongside  a number of other prestigious names. Some of our recent work with C.L.A.S.S includes sourcing for a special Africa design project with Asos, supplying swatches for high street COS, preparing for Premiere Vision in Paris with a new selection of recycled polyester yarns made using a new mechancial process, and also participating in a sustainable textile showcase at the London College of Fashion 'The Sustainable Angle'.
